Gosling And Mulligan Trade Words In The Latest Drive Clip
Another clip from the upcoming film Drive is making the rounds, and like the previous one, which we’ll repost for those of you who haven’t seen it yet, this new one also demonstrates the excellent on-screen chemistry between stars Ryan Gosling and Carrie Mulligan.
Drive stars Gosling as a stunt-driver by day and getaway driver by night, who falls for Carey Mulligan’s character, described as, “a vulnerable young mother dragged into a dangerous underworld by the return of her ex-convict husband Standard.”
The “Elevator” video offered no dialogue, but showed off how well Mulligan and Gosling were on screen together. This video is similar in that respect, though there seems to be something more going on in the conversation than we’re privy to at this point. Mulligan is seated on the floor of an apartment, when Gosling walks in. Judging by the balloons on the floor and the sign above the door, this takes place after some kind of a "Welcome Home" party. That, alone is interesting, but it's what they’re saying to each other that seems to hint at something else.
And, in case you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the excellent elevator scene.
Drive hits theaters September 16th. - More on the film here.
