Casting rumors and shooting dilemmas are behind us and soon we can finally enjoy some of the final product. According to MTV, The Green Hornet director Michael Gondry says the film’s trailer is on the way. While attending SXSW, Gondry revealed, "There's a trailer that's been made" and "[It should be out] in the spring or summer, actually."

The best part is that this is no teaser trailer; there will actually be some meat to the sequence. "You see Kato and Seth deciding why they want to be a crime fighter or why they want to pose as bad guys and then you see images of their completion. It's pretty violent, but with a good spirit."

Finally! We haven’t heard anything about The Green Hornet since back in October when Anvil’s involvement was announced. Plus, there’s nothing worse than being literally teased by a teaser trailer, so I’m thrilled to hear that this one will have some weight to it. There’s a lot riding on everyone involved in this project and the upcoming trailer will certainly set the pace in terms of excitement and expectation.
