We should have seen this coming . J.J. Abrams best buddy Greg Grunberg got famous this year as Psychic detective Matt on ‘Heroes’, but before that he was just that guy who finds a way into every Abrams project. In ‘Lost’ for instance, he was the pilot who gets eat by the monster in the first episode. So, of course he’s going to be in Cloverfield, er 01-18-08, er Monstrous, or whatever the hell they’re calling the Abrams produced mystery movie this week.
Grunberg dropped hints about the movie to TV Guide recently and claims he’ll be in it, though you may not notice him. “It'll probably be something where no one will be able to tell it's me," he said. "As you know, J.J. calls me his good-luck charm, so he's got to put me in there somewhere. I actually went to the set the other night, and it was really exciting and cool. The budget is not astronomical. But they're doing incredible things.”
So wait, he was at the set the other night? I guess that means they’re still filming. I wonder if even he knows what the damn thing is about. Come on Greg, give us a hint.
