It's six months till Halloween, and that means that the producers of the next Saw movie are pulling together a production to make their cash-in date of October 26. While Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II writer and Saw III director resumes the roles of both writer and director, Scott Patterson (Luke from “Gilmore Girls”) will join the Saw IV cast, reports Bloody-Disgusting.

Then anonymous source that dropped them the news also says Tobin Bell’s Jigsaw will return (from beyond the grave?) in the next installment, with a script penned by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. Expect even more incoherent plots and unnecessary gore when Saw IV takes theaters hostage in October.
