Halle Berry has been pretty MIA for the last few years-- after starring in the last X-Men movie and trying her hand at drama in the underseen Things We Lost in the Fire, she had a baby, took a break, and signed her name on to a handful of projects, none of which have started production.
Now she's adding another one to the pile, going into advanced talks to sign in Dark Tide, an action thriller about a diving instructor returning to the high seas after an encounter with a Great White. Amy Sorlie wrote it, according to Variety, and S.W.A.T. director Clark Johnson will handle it all from there. Johnson too has been MIA-- since S.W.A.T. he has mostly directed TV show episodes. Think this can be a decent comeback for the both of them?
