King Kong co-star and Tom Hanks spawn Colin Hanks and Hellboy heartthrob Selma Blair have landed roles opposite Antonio Banderas and Meg Ryan in the upcoming romantic comedy Homeland Security. Because nothing says laughter and romance like keeping religious zealots from blowing up buildings.
The movie is about an anal retentive federal agent forced to spy on his sexually freaky mom and her new boyfriend after the FBI suspects him of involvement in an art theft ring. Yeah, that seems likely doesn't it?
Despite all the big names involved, it's a fairly low-budget indie film. It's the latest movie from director George Gallo, and they're shooting for around $25 million to make the movie happen. Homeland Security will start shooting next month in Shreveport, Louisiana. Louisiana: Hollywood's latest "make ourselves feel good while making a bad movie" destination.
