Though I'm Not There was as underrated as it was obtuse, it might just be the kind of crazy that the Bob Dylan bio-pic writer Oren Moverman needs to pull off his directorial debut with Woody Harrelson and Samantha Morton. The two joined the cast already consisting of Ben Foster, Jena Malone and Eammon Walker, reports Variety. Other than casting, little is known about The Messenger other than it's a road movie, unless you count the ever reliable IMDB plot synopsis of an American soldier who struggles with an ethical dilemma after falling for a widowed officer's wife.
Though his appearance in No Country for Old Men was short lived, the White-Man-Who-Can-Jump is a solid actor when he wants to be. Morton, on the other hand, you may recognize as a pre-cog from Minority Report but her co-starring role in the Harmony Korine-helmed Mister Lonely is just beginning it's rounds in the limited release circuit. Teaming these two up with Moverman might just make for an interesting project once we get more details.
