I'm not sure this is newsworthy, but it'll probably fire up the Potterphiles among you. Warner Bros. has started casting on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and they're looking for their Luna Lovegood. Guess what? They want to cast one of you.

At the least this gives us an idea of what direction their going for with the character. According to their press release, they’re looking for girls between the ages of thirteen and sixteen years old, who are residents of the UK or Ireland (sorry Americans!). Even more importantly… no experience necessary. They’ll consider just about anyone.

Now hold on, don’t get excited and think you can show up and take over for Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter. Nor are they casting dragons or background scenery. They've made it clear to us here at CB Central that Luna Lovegood is the only role they're casting right now, so if you’ve ever thought of yourself as a Luna Lovegood type and you’re a good CB Reader from across the pond then give it a shot by showing up at: the Central Hall Westminster Storey’s Gate, Westminster, London SW 1 on Saturday January 14th. As an American, that address I just gave you makes absolutely no sense to me.

And please, nerds, don’t show up in costumes. That’s not cool, even the people at Warner Brothers think it’s kind of dorky. Leave your makeup off (What are you doing wearing makeup at that age?), forget your high heels (Seriously, you’re a kid!
