Half the fun in the Harry Potter franchise has been watching the kids grow up right in front of us, on screen. But you don’t really realize just how much they’ve grown up, until you look back at the early films and measure the differences. I don’t think any of us really realized just how young Daniel Radcliffe was when this all started, and if you listen to him talking in the first Potter movie now, his high-pitched childlike voice sounds almost like it must have come from someone else.

At least I think that’s the sense you’ll get when you watch this new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 featurette. Before launching into a quick look at the new movie, it travels through all those that came before it. Past Radcliffe’s squeaky pre-pubscent voice and into the final chapter when he’s all grown up.
