Helen Hunt-Liev Schreiber Indie Film Every Day Picked Up For Distribution![]()
With the kick-off of the Toronto Film Festival yesterday, you can expect a slew of distribution deal announcements coming out over the next week and a half. Things kicked off this morning with the announcement that the Weinstein Company picked up Sarah's Key, and now, right on its heels, comes the second major announcement out of the festival.
Deadline reports that Image Entertainment has picked up distribution rights to Every Day from director Richard Levine. Starring Helen Hunt, Liev Schreiber, Brian Dennehy and Carla Gugino, the film is a dramedy about a married couple who watch their lives take a turn when the wife's estranged father moves in with them. The film premiered at this year's Tribeca Film Festival and you can read the review of it by our own Perri Nemiroff, who said of it, "there's really nothing special about it, but it does emulate the value of seeing a nice movie for sheer enjoyment." The film will be released theatrically next January. |
