In Fantastic Four Jessica Alba plays a woman who no one can see. In her upcoming remake of the Hong Kong horror movie The Eye, she plays a woman who can’t see anyone.

She’s a blind woman who gets a cornea implant which restores her sight. But, in the best traditions of bad horror movies about implants, the eye grants her the power to see dead people.

People rave about how good the Hong Kong movie is, and it’s hard to believe Alba will be able to pull off the kind of acting subtlety they all rave about… but she will look good. And isn’t that the only reason we show up to Jessica Alba movies anyway?
