If you don't know what Highlander is, consider yourself pretty clueless… and also extremely lucky. To recap, basically a bunch of guys fight with swords to see who gets to be Jesus. In the first film, one guy cut off all the other guys heads and won the power to walk on water, or something. The story was over. At least until the next movie when they ignored everything that was established in the first movie and started a vicious cycle of bending their fans over and doing not so nice things to them. We few remaining Highlander fans would have given up and bolted long ago, if not for our box sets of the BRILLIANT and wildly underrated "Highlander: The Series" to keep us warm.

Well, just when you thought things couldn't get any worse after Endgame, the Highlander franchise has sunk even lower. They're turning to anime. Not even good anime (which I'm told exists though I've seen powerful little proof), bad Matrix ripoff anime. Seriously, this is pathetic, even for the folks behind Highlander. They've found absolutely the last drop of cash in this franchise and they're squeezing like hell.
