I've practically made myself hoarse shouting the praises of In the Loop, the wickedly funny satire of the political relationship between Britain and America during administrations that fairly resemble Bush's and Blair's. It comes out in limited release and on demand on July 24, which means the people I see on a regular basis can finally see what I've been raving about.
We previously ran 11 clips from the film, which give a much better sense of the movie's humor than any of my rambling. But if you're somehow not yet convinced, Hulu has an exclusive deleted scene from the film, in which awesomely profane media expert Malcolm chews out someone on the phone who wants him to take it easy. Also part of the scene is Toby, a new hire at the Foreign Minister's office who's stuck on the phone with his girlfriend, who only wants to talk about foot cream. Trust me, it's hilarious. Check out the clip below (you need a Hulu account to get past the age gate), and please, please, for your own sake, see In the Loop as soon as humanly possible.
