The first teaser poster for the movie adaptation of the videogame Hitman has just popped up online, courtesy of the guys over at Twitch.
Apparently this is the French teaser poster, if there’s a domestic one I haven’t seen it yet. It’s plain, but it plays on the whole bar code thing which is probably what they ought to be doing since it seems you spend a lot of the game staring at it on the back of the main character’s head. People want barcodes dammit!
Based on the videogame of the same name, in Hitman. Agent 47 (Olyphant) has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name. Watch for the movie in theaters October 12th.

Not only will this movie prob be crap, I think Olyphant has too much talent for it. Someone get him a better role asap.
