Unless you hate your kids and/or you have apathetic children too bogged down in idiocy to care what they watch on home video, I can’t recommend purchasing Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil. I can recommend wasting three minutes of your time watching this video, so you understand why Hoodwinked Too! is a futile purchase.

That being said, if you hate your children, Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil will be available on 3D Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray, and DVD on August 16. All editions will include the aforementioned video from heroine Hayden Panettiere, as well as videos from Lavay Cole and CEEJ. A featurette, storyboards, and video game applications will wrap up the extras, proving Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has not planned anything lavish for the sets.

To be fair, Hoodwinked Too is only mostly crap. Bill Hader shows up. There are also some girl power themes that are, granted, more important for adults than kids who are unaware and could care less. At the end of the day, there are far better ways to waste an hour and a half. Give your kids an Olivia book or some Fancy Nancy and they’ll have a much better day. Oh, and if you take anything out of this, don’t spring for the $39.99 3D Blu-Ray. I have Katey to back me up on this.
