We're all used to seeing hot younger women cast alongside older men, but this is a little ridiculous-- 22-year-old Lyndsy Fonseca will be playing the love interest who got away opposite 42-year-old John Cusack in Hot Tub Time Machine. Yes, this movie's plot involves time travel, so presumably Cusack's adult character won't travel back to 1987 and woo his high-school girlfriend. But still, a bit creepy, no?

THR notes that Hot Tub Time Machine, about three middle-aged buddies who travel back in time in a Jacuzzi, is already filming, so Fonseca will wanted on set immediately. She just finished filming Kick Ass with Nicolas Cage, and also is familiar as the daughter on How I Met Your Mother-- though she hasn't spoken on that show since the first season. I guess this is a much bigger opportunity for her, even if it involves wooing a guy old enough to be her dad.
