About six months ago we brought you news that Hugh Jackman, perhaps cinema's greatest badass who is also comfortable wearing gold lame short-shorts, would be starring in Avon Man, a comedy about exactly what it sounds like. Now Production Weekly reports that production is getting started in April in Atlanta, with Kevin Lima directing.

Lima, you'll remember, is responsible for the magic that was Enchanted, and is also attached to the Candy Land movie and a teen rom-com version of Frankenstein. Apparently Avon Man takes priority, though. In the film Jackman will play a laid-off car salesman forced to take a job selling Avon beauty projects, which is no challenge for a guy that good-looking and charming. Yes, it's a stretch for the homely and untalented Jackman, but I bet he has the tenacity to pull it off.
