In all of the chaos that has surrounded the casting of Captain America for Joe Johnston's First Avenger: Captain America, it has been kind of easy to forget that there are other characters in the film (after all, the hero's name is in the title). But where you have a superhero, you need a supervillain, which for Cap has always been the Red Skull, the former Nazi general officer who has been doing battle with Cap since the character's introduction in 1941.
