Human Centipede Sequel Banned In UK Due To Graphic Sexual Depravity image
Jason Sudeikis had a pretty funny line last night hosting the 2011 MTV Movie Awards when he asked why The Human Centipede wasn’t nominated in the Best Kiss cetagory. I wonder if they laughed at that in the UK?

British officials are rejecting the sequel to Tom Six’s stomach-churning exploitation horror, subtitled Full Sequence, due to “graphic images of sexual violence, forced defecation, and mutilation.” Unlike the initial Centipede, this sequel follows a pervert who’s so obsessed with a videotape of the original film that he dedicates his time and resources into turning the medical experiment into a sexual reality. Oh, and he masturbates with sandpaper. Totally normal.

As of right now, the BBFC has banned the sequel, meaning it “cannot be legally supplied anywhere in the UK.” And Six can’t even contemplate submitting an edited version of the film for reevaluation because the Board decided that because “unacceptable content runs throughout the work, cuts are not a viable option in this case and the work is therefore refused a classification.” Part of me is impressed that Six has created a film so vile it is being rejected outright. Yet while my gut if flipping just thinking about the depraved places Full Sequence goes, I still think it should be up to the consumer to decide themselves if they want to see a film … no matter how sick it reportedly is.
