Hurt Locker Blows Up At The BAFTAs image
In what could be an indicator of things to come at the Oscars, the Orange British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) were held this weekend and, went crazy for The Hurt Locker. Kathryn Bigelow’s war movie nabbed six awards in total and among those three the two most important ones: Best Film and Best Director.

For anyone worried about Avatar, don’t. James Cameron’s computer generated epic cleaned up in the technical categories, which is exactly what it deserves.
