I Am Legend 2 Coming Soon?

yeah id like to see another I Am Legend Movie, but i highly doubt Will Smith will be the main charater unless its a prequel,
to see him in the sequel will be wierd, one reason being he's dead, if someone could survive from an explosion from a grenade while in his hand is not human.

this is a late post. but i just read yours and i had to make an acount on this site to tell you that you are an absolute moron. if you have read the book then you would know that i am legend is a terrible movie that completely ruined a briliant masterpiece. if i was richard matheson i would be insalted by the cover story they put with my title. they need to make a sequal just to salvage what a catostrophic failer the first movie was. read the book!! the movie is garbage!!

Little Information that is avail. it is a prequel and will star WILL SMITH, more on how it came about. Seems more like the Resident Evil film though from the Scientist point of view.

Hmmm, i must admit he has a point, the idea could be easily spoilt but there is a tricky way of making it work. first it'd have to be a prequel no doubt about it (and luckily they've chosen to make it a prequel), and secondly they'd have to put will smith in it lol, cos hes a great actor and he made the movie even better than it would be without him. Thirdly they would have to make the plot realistic, and from what ive been reading, the story of racing back and forth from Washington D.C to New York doesnt sound too bad, they'll just have to incorporate it bloody good.

The TV series 'survivors' at the moment on BBC in England (for you yanks that liked I am Legend - you'd just love it to bits, believe me!(its on BBC Iplayer if u can't get good old British TV), I am legend and 28 Days Later has kinda summed up that nice apocalyptical idea of post-viral mankind self destruction that everyone just loves.

I hope 'I Am Becoming a Legend' will meet expectations, and won't spoil the first one (which as my brother keeps reminding me; spoilt the book enough from first film).

this is the best movie i ever seen.i truly dont lie about it because many effects have been made of good idea i loved.all things were described to the people as well.i just loved of scene part of mental disease without human contact.this is the reason i loved i guess....

i personally think that a second movie would be great , concidering that there was alot of unanswered questions.I would like to see will smith play as the main character it would be great!

This goes to "Mocha" because in the "actual" ending, Robert Neville[[Will Smith]] blew himself up with a grenade at the end of the movie, if you were actually watching, unless you watched the alternate ending where he does in fact live. The sequel will be made after the one they actually put in theatres, not the one they made an alternate ending on and only some of the viewers who bought the package watched. So, Robert Neville will not show up in the sequel if there is in fact one. It'll be about Anna[[Alice Braga]], who was the person he passed the cure on to before he did indeed blew himself up, and the survivor's colony where her and Ethan arrived at the end. So, please, don't say stuff if you don't know anything about it.

I believe that I am legend 2 will not be a continuation after I am legend but rather the events that occured in the past years that led to his death, on how it all started...

They are makeing a prequel to the movie. Explaining more how everything happend. Its going to be released in 2011

i hope they do make the 2 part we u dont want to watch it thats ur f***** problem but i saw that movie and it was great i hope they make lots of them cuz it was so sad that i wanna watch another one and we dont know if does bloodthirsty still alive and we need to know cuz the woman had the antidote they need to try it againg and safe does ppl.

They should make the film from the other version of the i am legend where will smith lives.

there is a prequel expected in 2011 and it will star will smith as Col. Robert Neville. i think it shoud be right after the crash with his daughter and wife. it should tell what he did and how he survived and how he found Sam. i think somehow it would b rly cool if they could somehow make his daughter and his wife come back maybe they didnt die they just got hurt and sorta swam away? idk.

Well, I think that the movie should be a prequal, following Dr. Neville immediatly after his family is killed in the helicopter, when the virus has just been let out. How does neville survive the chaos? Does he try to help people by day? He didn't have those metal windows from the beginning, so how does he survive the first few nights, while the virus runs rampant? That is what i would like to see. As for a sequel, will smith would not be in the movie. I don't care what any of you say about the alternate ending. He wouldn't be a legend if he survived. The very ending seen in theatres is the very ending that gives the movie its title. Anyway, I think a scientist-type character should emerge in that vermont town, correspond with that girl Ana and talk about a vaccine, and then its time to return to the night: New York City, and try to safely round up some infected and treat them. That's my 2 cents.

Its good 4 u guys that I'm here to keep u in the know. They ARE making another I Am Legend, but it will be a prequel. Will Smith is confirmed to be returning as Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Robert Neville. The movie will be about what happened to Neville b4 the Infected took over New York City completely. It is expected 2 be released in 2011.

I am Legend 2 COULD be good. So I disagree with the author that it shouldn't be made. There just aren't enough GOOD movies out there. BUT there are so many ways it could be bad. IF it were the same old "dark seekers" running around.... that would be bad. He's a legend BECAUSE he cured the disease. BUT what could make it good is if they showed the rebuilding of the country and planet. You've only got a few hundred people (maybe a few thousand) in the WHOLE COUNTRY! How do they rebuild? How is the healing of the people going? What kinds of problems do they face? People becoming outlaws? It could kinda be like the TV show Jericho was after the nuke attack. I think it COULD be VERY interesting if they wrote it right.

I think they should start from scratch. You like this one because you did not see the other scripts.
One was much, much better.
The first movie with Vincent price was closest to the book.
He was a "legend" among the people that were healing themselves. Neville killed everything in the day including the healing people that slept in the day. Basically, he was the boogey man. Reverse hero if you will.
Or you can have another Zombie movie and do what ever you want.

2.they can make a part 2 that shows if the cure workd and what they went through to.. Be able to transform. Zombies back to humans. And in the deleted scene. In the second disc it shows that. Neville and anna were intimate. Thus sayin they where pregnant.. And I don't think they used a condom.. No one make them no more and I don't think condoms last for more than 2 years..
Also the zombie general if he was so smart I'm sure he wouldn't just die. I'm sure he would have had a 2nd wave of attack. So how did anna and ethan survive. Although they could of..

"Perfect as is" somebody wrote about I Am Crap Legend, give me a break, you obviously haven't read the original book or saw "The Last Man on Earth" The Will Smith movie is a piece of junk, made money, yes, good movie, hell no! They totally changed the original story and actually made it ordinary, they took away from the terror and drama that the book and The Last Man on Earth has, not to mention that the dumb non-scary looking CGI monsters were not life-like at all. It amazing what people will accept as a good movie now-a-days, it's sad and yes they will make a sequel because they want the money, that's all they want, the art is gone.

Relax guys, this is a movie we are talking about and off course it was a great movie. Now in a movie he can still be alive. I think they should make a sequel, BUT with Will Smith. In a movie there could be many ways to make believe people he survived the explosion and all the rest of it. I think this is how this should be, he should be in it. Prequel will be no good. Later.

i thank that i have really sweaty balls but still that was a delivery movie. it was so good i had to sniff some colade after word but still i do like chicken wings with hot sauce.??!!%%$$##@@
