Images From Reese Witherspoon's Softball Movie

For those of you who only watch good movies, Reese Witherspoon has been MIA from theaters since 2007. For everyone else, you haven’t seen her since 2008’s Four Christmases and what’s more you’re not likely to see her any time soon. Her next movie is a mysterious, untitled James L. Brooks project which is currently filming and isn’t expected in theaters before December of 2010.

I don’t really follow Blend Celebrity as well as I should, so I have no explanation for her extended absence. I’m going go ahead and make the wild assumption that she been in a race against the Octomom to see who can pop out the most kids in the shortest period of time. At least that’s how I’m going to explain the baggy, mommy baseball uniform she’s been forced to wear on the James L. Brooks set.

The images below come from Splash News where they have even more shots of Reese swinging big stick. Is this like the breastfeeding, slow-pitch softball version of A League of Their Own or something? Come James L. Brooks, title this thing already, so we can figure out what’s going on.
