I’m starting to get a little burned out on talk about J.J. Abrams’ upcoming Star Trek movie. After all, there is only so much we can talk about and, knowing Abrams, half of the talk will be pointless anyway as the writer/director loves to spin webs that yields most talk irrelevant anyway. So, talk is really cheap.
Thankfully, there’s more than talk about Star Trek - images are starting to leak out. The other day we ran a story about set pictures, but now JFX Online has hit the proverbial motherlode of Trek images: actor Zachary Quinto in Spock makeup. I think it’s sufficient to say: he looks awesome.
The site has images of Quinto and what appears to be some sort of Vulcan council meeting (by everyone’s best guess). Unfortunately the site’s watermark makes it difficult to make out some of the images, but they are still pretty fascinating to see.
I have high hopes for Abrams and Trek. I think if anyone can make a new Star Trek movie work, Abrams is the guy, and the images certainly help build excitement. Now bring on the teaser trailer to remove any doubt about the new movie.

OK the one of him on the left.... drool. The one on the right he looks like something from planet of the apes. I am sure with the filming and all he will look awesome. He does look a bit less 'lanky' than Leonard Nimoy though....
