MOVIE NEWS
Incredibles On DVD We don’t do a lot of DVD coverage here in the Blend News Network, but do our best to hit all the highlights... usually courtesy DVD Diggers. Well, for the informed DVD consumer, there’s precious little information more important than this:
Despite a very confused release date from Amazon.com announcing that The Incredibles DVD will be released in twenty years, USA Today confirms that one of the two best superhero movies ever made (the other being Spidey 2 of course) will hit the format on March 15, 2005. The big feature being touted with Buena Vista’s sales pitch, is an extra scene called “Jack-Jack’s Attack Chronicles” in which we see what takes place between Jack-Jack and his babysitter Kari. Jack-Jack unleashed! Also included on the disc will be standard fare like commentary with Craig T. Nelson and Samuel L. Jackson, an alternate opening, deleted scenes, and of course Pixar’s legendary faux bloopers. If we had a partnership with Amazon.com, this would be a great spot for me to drop down a link where you can all go and reserve a copy. But those things never seem to be profitable, so I cancelled our reseller account a couple of months ago. Find your own away over there, I’ve already got mine on order. |
