So there you have it, enough Indy bonus content to choke a gundark. Wait, wrong franchise. One thing that stands out by its absence, however, is any commentary tracks featuring Spielberg, Lucas, Ford...anybody, really. I realize it's a bit petty to complain about that when there's so much other content, but there's just something about listening to the stars and filmmakers talk about the film while you watch it that lends the experience a sense of immediacy and perceived personalization that you don't get from featurettes and documentaries. I know Spielberg and Lucas don't often do commentaries, but Lucas did it for the Star Wars Blu-rays. Nobody could have twisted his arm a little?

Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures hits Blu-ray on September 18th. I'm so excited I won't even point out that calling it "complete" without the Young Indiana Jones Adventures seems like false advertising. What? I just did? Well, drat.
