Man, those Indiana Jones fellows are hard at work. Just yesterday I visited the official site looking for a piece of information and was reminded that principal photography began this week. Today they’ve updated the website with an on-location video from Shia LaBeouf. In the short QuickTime video he reflects on the first time he saw the previous films, the meaning of Indiana Jones to he and his dad’s relationship, and meeting Harrison Ford. If nobody else is entertained by Indy 4, at least LaBeouf can say he had a good time.
A little speculation on the silly side, Shia remembers watching Transformers, Indiana Jones, and Yogi Bear. He's done a Transformers movie and moved on to Indy... will Shia LeBouf be the next Boo Boo in a live action Yogi Bear movie?
The most recent news to the official site also gives a list of vendors who will be hocking Indy’s face at you over the next year – yes, that’s right, the merchandiser’s list. You can expect toys from Hasbro, LEGO sets, Hallmark party supplies, and more. The worst: Burger King. I absolutely dread any kind of commercial with that stupid King mascot and Indy, unless they put the whip to the King as a way to finally get rid of him. The best: more Indy videogames – hey, maybe we’ll even get a LEGO Indiana Jones game to follow in the footsteps of the LEGO Star Wars series.
