There's a long and obnoxious tradition of the international version of a poster being immensely more interesting than whatever we get here at home. And while the new international poster for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra isn't exactly groundbreaking, it's at least vaguely interesting, which is almost inevitably better than the floating-heads crap we'll wind up getting here.

Empire Online posted the poster exclusively, and you can see a smaller version of it below. The whole "fire and ice" set-up between the good guys and bad guys is kind of strange, unless there's a Captain Planet subtext to the movie I haven't heard about. And is that Sienna Miller's ass that's dominating the entire poster, or is that another actress? Clearly I haven't been paying enough attention. And sadly enough, despite the positive qualities of this poster, it doesn't really make me want to care any more.
