Iron Man 3 Gets You Ready For Its Super Bowl Trailer With A New Teaser

When it comes to Super Bowl trailers, it's not enough to just have the 30-60 second spot play during the big game - it has to be sufficiently hyped as well. In the past couple years we've watched studios release trailer teasers (not to be confused with teaser trailers) for their biggest movies, and this year is no different.

Following in the footsteps of the preview for the Lone Ranger spot that arrived online yesterday, Disney and Marvel Studios have posted a quick look at what they have in store for us this Sunday with a teaser clip for Iron Man 3. As you probably could have predicted, it's a very quick spot, so focus hard, people!

Co-written and directed by Shane Black, Iron Man 3 finds the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe still struggling with the events at the end of The Avengers, but particularly Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). But when his personal world is blown apart and he finds himself facing off against the terrorist leader known as The Mandarin (Sir Ben Kingsley), he must use every bit of ingenuity and courage he has to try and save both himself and discover whether it is he who is the hero or the suit. Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, and Jon Favreau are set to reprise their roles from the previous films, while new cast additions include Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, James Badge Dale and Ashley Hamilton.

We'll have the full Iron Man 3 spot here on Cinema Blend on Sunday when its posted online, but for now you can see posters, stills and the first theatrical trailer over in our Blend Film Database.
