Summer is here!!! Well, it has arrived at the box office, anyway. Whether or not you're enjoying warm weather where you live you can definitely heat things up by heading to the theater because the march of the blockbusters has officially begun.

Hollywood is getting things started this year with the requisite super-hero movie. Iron Man [Read the CB Review], starring Robert Downey Jr., is no Spider-man, but as a fast-paced popcorn flick with a little bit of heart, it's still a fun way to open up the season. There's no doubt that it will the number one movie.
There's also no question that it's going to enjoy the largest opening weekend of the year so far. The prediction of choice is just how much Iron Man will make. Many are predicting numbers in the $70 million range. With Americans skittish about their money and the box office in general coming up a little shallow this year compared to last, I'd look for something in the mid-$60 million area.
Getting squashed under Iron Man's massive suit of explosive-laden armor will be Patrick Dempsey's Made of Honor [Read the CB Preview]. The movie looks like My Best Friend's Wedding with the roles reversed, and critics tend to agree that it's a rehashed, washed up piece of rom-com sleepiness. Of course those "Grey's Anatomy" fans will turn out to back their dear Dr. McDreamy, but that probably won't be enough to break the $20 million mark.

I'm by no means a box office expert but for what ever it's worth the three box office forecasting sites I frequent(Boxofficeprophets, Boxofficeguru, and Boxofficereport) all said Iron Man would make 80-million plus.
I haven't seen iron man yet. But I have search it in many source. I think it's an adorable film. May the sequel gonna be made? I think yes, it will be strange if there are not any sequel, are there?
