Is Superman Dating An Indian Princess?

Is Superman Dating An Indian Princess? There’s been almost no movement on a sequel to Superman Returns, or at least none that we’ve really been aware of. Every couple of months some passing comment is made, but that’s about it, which is why a casting announcement from Zee News is being met with a lot of surprise and quite a bit of skepticism.

According to the Indian website, actress Priyanka Chopra has been offered a part as Superman’s love interest in Superman: The Man of Steel. Allegedly an offer has been made but the actress has yet to confirm whether she’s accepting the part yet.

Sorry, I’m calling shenanigans on this one. The reporting website leaves some odd information out of the story. For instance, the sequel title, or Bryan Singer’s name, referring to the movie as the “Superman sequel” and Singer as “the director”. The site has even listed the story under “spicy gossip,” so I’m assuming someone is sitting in an office somewhere making up stories without bothering to get any details about the actual project going on.

I can’t imagine Singer and Warner Brothers have moved forward on Superman’s sequel that they’ve gotten to the point of casting without anyone noticing. Maybe we’re wrong, but I’m not buying into this news just yet.
