Jack The Giant Slayer Gets Five Beastly New Character Posters
Director Bryan Singer is currently hard at work preparing to reenter the comic book world with X-Men: Days of Future Past, but there's something he still needs to take care of before then: the release of Jack The Giant Slayer. While it was originally going to be released in the summer of last year, the film is now getting set to hit theaters in March and that means that a massive marketing push is on the horizon. And it begins with this series of new character posters highlighting the movie's titular monsters.
The new artwork was sent out today by the Warner Bros. Twitter feed, and I must admit that they have me a bit confused. I know "Fee, Fye, Foe, Fumm," but what the hell is "Fallon"? I personally don't remember that from the fairy tale, but then again I fully expect that Singer and writers Darren Lemke, Christopher McQuarrie and Dan Studney made plenty of changes like that for the film. Check out the posters below!
Set to hit theaters on March 1st, Jack The Giant Slayer tells the tale of the titular hero (Nicholas Hoult) who is just an ordinary farm boy before the day a princess (Eleanor Tomlinson) is kidnapped by giants that live in the clouds. With the truce between the races broken, Jack joins an expedition up to the giant's homeworld so that he can rescue the damsel in distress. Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, Ian McShane, Warwick Davis, Eddie Marsan and Ewen Bremner co-star in the movie, which you can read more about in our Blend Film Database.
