He played an alien on “Roswell,” then a doomed boyfriend in the supernatural The Grudge, and now he is back to battling spooky forces. Jason Behr may rarely land work as a regular, run-of-the-mill guy, but at least he is off the unemployment line.According to Variety, Behr will star in the thriller The Tattooist, for The New Zealand Film Commission, Mediacorp Raintree Prods, and Eyeworks Touchdown Prods. Robin Scholes will produce with Daniel Yun. The Tattooist, which sounds like a made-up word but isn’t, gives Behr his shot at a leading role. He plays a tattoo artist who becomes intrigued by the Samoan tatau tradition, but his desire to learn the ancient skill leads to trouble. Before long, a deadly spirit is released and he encounters conflict and danger with the island mysticism. If movies have taught us anything, it's this: stay far away from angry spirits, or pay the price.
