The indie comedy A Good Old Fashioned Orgy boasted an incredible line-up of comedy stars when it first shot back in 2008, which made it all the more mysterious when it seemed to drop off the face of the earth after it wrapped. With SNL players like Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte part of the cast, plus up-and-coming comedians like Leslie Bibb, Lucy Punch and Lake Bell, it seemed like a slam dunk for distribution, especially since Sudeikis has become a more and more crucial member of the SNL ensemble.

Now, at long last, the Good Old Fashioned Orgy is coming your way. According to THR Sony and Samuel Goldwyn Films are teaming up to distribute the comedy in the United States, with a release scheduled for late summer. The movie, as the title promises, finds a group of 30-something friends throwing an orgy as a goodbye celebration for the summer home they've been visiting for years. Sudeikis is the star but the movie is described as an ensemble comedy, meaning you can expect a lot of nonsense happening to all of the actors mentioned above. With Bridesmaids, The Change Up, 30 Minutes or Less and even Bad Teacher already on the lineup, it's looking like a good summer for original comedy; hopefully Orgy will end the summer with, er, a bang. No, I'm not sorry about that pun, and no that's not the last one you'll see with regard to this movie. Get used to it!
