Jennifer Garner Caught And Released

By Josh Tyler: 2006-12-24 00:00:00
If I were Kevin Smith, I’d set fire to Sony’s film vault rather than let Catch and Release be released. Not because the film looks like a Jennifer Garner brand Steel Magnolias (which it does), but because with the clothes they’ve got him wearing in the trailer Kevin looks like a blimp. He’s never been a small man, but in Catch and Release it’s almost as if someone’s gone out of their way to bloat the dude bigger than normal. I feel for him. Give the guy a trenchcoat!

Since it’s due out in a month, Sony has released the first poster for the movie. They’re going with a three-level, cupboard effect and if the two guys sharing the bottom shelf of the cupboard are Kevin’s romantic competition in the movie, he may be in trouble. It might help if he wasn’t wearing a dirty bathrobe.
