Jerry O'Connell Feelin' Fishy

Apparently getting eaten by a 3D piranha is really hot in Hollywood these days. Jerry O'Connell, a.k.a. the fat kid from Stand by Me or Cush from Jerry Maguire or Rebecca Romijn's husband, has also signed on to the horror remake Piranha 3D, according to Entertainment Weekly. O'Connell is joining Richard Dreyfuss, Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott and Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr.

Alexandre Aja, who most recently made Mirrors but also gets credit for The Hills Have Eyes, will be directing it. Does that mean the movie will be less cheesy than the title suggests? Probably not. But maybe it'll at least be fun.
