I’m not sure how many of these ancient Chinese war movies we need, but here’s another one. I suppose it’s no worse than America’s superhero fascination. We like men in tights, they like dudes in wicker armor.

This time it’s Jet Li leading China’s heroic army in a fairly vague “crusade of justice.” The movie’s called The Warlords and the trailer never really gets more specific than that. Who’s justice? What’s justice to one man might be unfair to another. I guess it’s justice for whoever gets the swelling musical score whenever he steps on screen. So there’s swords and screaming and the usual generic shots of tons of arrows flying through the air and guys circling on horses. Check The Warlords trailer out in HD on Apple or watch it below.
