We haven’t seen her in the trailers, so maybe you thought Jill Valentine wouldn’t be back for Resident Evil: Afterlife. The character figures prominently in the games and in the last movie, Resident Evil: Extinction she was played by actress Sienna Guillory. Now we know she’ll play her again in Afterlife.

Milla Jovovich confirmed her involvement earlier today through her Twitter feed where she revealed, “So to answer many of your questions in one fell swoop, yes! The gorgeous and talented Sienna Guillory is back as Jill Valentine in RE4!!!”

Expect to see Jill in theaters with Resident Evil: Afterlife on September 10th. While you wait, here’s a new, 3D RE poster from ultimate-re.
