John Goodman And Susan Sarandon Help Dr. Death![]()
John Goodman and Susan Sarandon have been enlisted to help Dr. Kevorkian kill again! Or help the elderly achieve death with dignity again, depending on your point of view. Death with dignity again just doesn’t have quite the same ring.
THR says they’ve joined the cast of You Don’t Know Jack, an HBO Films biopic which stars Al Pacino as Jack Kevorkian. Picture Al Pacino without his hair and you’ll instantly realize why that’s perfect casting. As for Goodman and Sarandon, they’ll play two of Dr. Death’s cohorts. Goodman is Nicol, a co-worker of Kevorkian’s who puts his medical training to use in assisting him. Sarandon is Janet Good, an activist with the Hemlock Society who eventually becomes one of his terminal patients. The Barry Levinson directed movie will focus primarily on the most controversial period of Kevorkian’s life, when he builds his mercy machine and starts performing assisted suicides. Sorry, no Dr. Death: The Early Years in which we follow Jack Kevorkian’s adventures as a precocious pre-teen with a mysterious after school activity. |
