John Krasinski's directorial debut Brief Interviews With Hideous Men didn't exactly set the world on fire when it debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January, maybe because everyone was still too attached to David Foster Wallace's original book to get on board. And yet, the guy best known as Jim Halpert, the boyfriend every girl wish she had, is getting a chance to bring his film to a wider audience.

IFC has picked up U.S. distribution rights to the film, according to Variety, with plans to release it theatrically and on-demand on September 25. The film, which adapts a series of essays into a loose story about a woman interviewing men about their sex lives, stars Julianne Nicholson, Will Arnett, Dominic Cooper and Christopher Meloni, among others.
