USA Today has a first look at Angelina Jolie in Salt, where she plays a spy suspected of being a double agent. You might remember the movie was previously intended to star Tom Cruise, who dropped off the project, when the role was changed to a female and Jolie stepped in. Or, you might not. There is more to the world than movies Tom Cruise drops out of.

The pictures show both a blonde and brunette version of Jolie in the title role, leading to the question: “Which one is the real Salt?” That’s a question that is apparently the core of the movie - is she an honest spy or a double agent? Is she blonde or brunette?

Seriously, I don’t see what all the fuss is about over two pictures with different color hair. Didn’t we see a spy do this already in J.J. Abrams Alias series? And there Sidney at least had the courtesy to go wild with pink hair, among other disguises. I like the idea that the audience may never know who the real character is, but it’s going to take more than hair color to make me interested.
