Jolie In Manson Wonderland![]()
While I like “Alice in Wonderland” I have to admit I don’t know a lot about the classic’s author Lewis Carroll. But I’m pretty sure he was absolutely nothing like Marilyn Manson. Mr. Manson it seems, would disagree.
Production Weekly say professional freak Manson will direct, score, and star in the movie Phantasmagoria – The Visions of Lewis Carroll. He’ll play famed “Wonderland” author Lewis Carroll. Marilyn also had a hand in writing the script, with Anthony Silva. But, even if he’s bad, Marilyn won’t be the worst actor in the film. He’s cast a fashion model named Lily Cole to star as Alice. When it comes to acting, fashion models, for those keep track, are the only thing worse than professional wrestlers. To balance out his fashion model cast, Marilyn is reportedly in negotiations with Angelina Jolie to star as the Red Queen. What Jolie is doing messing around with a gothed out, freakazoid version of Finding Neverland is a complete mystery. But her recent taste in projects hasn’t exactly been stellar, so I doubt it signifies that Marilyn’s Phantasmagoria is any better than it sounds. This might remind some of you of the weird news item we heard a few years ago that had Michael Jackson involved in a film about the life of Edgar Allen Poe. MJ as the guy who quothed ravens is about the only thing I can think of that’d be weirder than this. The MJ project never materialized, probably buried under legal bills. This project stands a much more frightening chance of actually happening. |
