If teenage girls aren't currently in love with Jon Hamm, either their parents are keeping them away from quality TV or they just haven't yet learned the appeal of a square jaw and a slight smirk. But with the Mad Men star joining the cast of Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch, it might just be time for a teen girl awakening.
Hamm wil play a character known as "High Roller," which might be an appropriate nickname for Don Draper, actually. As for the teen girls, he'll be starring alongside Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Browning, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and Carla Gugino-- not all of them teens, but many of them with youngun followings. THR writes that other details about Hamm's character are being kept secret, but hey, it's Jon Hamm, probably kicking ass. Do you really need to know more?
Sadly, it seems likely that Hamm's role will be a small one, given that he's currently shooting Mad Men season three, will go to Boston for The Town in September (in which he has a major role), and only then get on set for Sucker Punch. As far as I know Sucker Punch starts filming soon, so they'll be well into production by the time Hamm shows up. Still, I suppose a little bit of Don Draper is better than none at all.
