Just a few days ago we showed you a list pulling together all the Watchmen casting rumors. Anyone who isn’t a Judd Apatow fan might have reviewed the list and thought, “who the hell is Jonah Hill?” Well, Hill is not only the co-star of Knocked Up and the upcoming Superbad, he’s also the first person on the list to officially deny that he’s involved.
Hill was doing an interview with Superbad cast mate Michael Cera on MTV when the casting rumors for Watchmen came up. Hill blamed it on that whole Internet thingamajig. He said “This is like an Internet thing supposedly; I mean, it’s all hearsay. I haven’t heard anything about it. People have sent me articles about it, saying that I’m going to be in Watchmen…whatever.” You can see all of his comments in a video on the MTV site.
While that certainly seems like we should strike Hill from the list of probable cast members, he may suffer from Shia LaBeoufitis. You may remember that Labeouf made almost the same comments about Internet rumors relating to him being cast in Indiana Jones 4. Less than a month later, he was set to play Indy’s son. So before anyone republishes the Watchmen list, let’s wait a month and see if Hill eats his words.

I'm not entirely surprised that rumor got started, since Jonah seems to have been officially cast in EVERYTHING lately.
