Jonah Hex will be released in theaters this weekend, though you could be forgiven for not knowing that given the complete lack of promotion Warner Bros. has thrown behind it. You'd be forgiven for smelling a rat-- after all, this is a movie starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox about a cowboy who carries gattling guns on top of his horse. If they can't sell this movie, that means there must be something really wrong in there.

The most recent clip to be released online did nothing to give me further faith in the movie, but I'll admit, the new clip posted by MTV is an improvement. Maybe it's because it features John Malkovich at his leering evil best, or maybe it's because it takes place before Brolin's Jonah Hex character gets the ugly facial scars, but this works better than what we've seen before. Take a look at the clip below and let us know if some Malkovich ultra-violence is enough to make you see Jonah Hex after all.
