Josh Responds To Devin

Keep up the good work Josh and fight through it, or rather ignore them and keep on with what you're doing.

From personal experience other people who have larger sites just seem to try to put you down for no reason other than to deter their visitors from coming to your site and try and ruin it. Frankly that doesn't work, it's small minded, it's petty and it's jealousy. For an admin to use their own site which has a large audience as a platform to negatively impact yours is pathetic.

If there's a beef they need to deal with it directly, not run around in the playground shouting and crying.

Bravo, Josh. Good for you to not take these absurd allegations lying down. What Devon did was a personal attack against you and this site, nevermind childishly inapropriate (what is this, third grade?) If he had a problem with you, then why didn't he just contact you privately instead of devoting a whole article saying, "look what he did, isn't he bad?" (or something like that) I think this rebuttle is adaquate enough. If he starts another article, you should just leave it at that and not head down the delinquent path that Devon is already paving for you. But it's great you didn't let him get away with this one, because it was simply over the line. The high road doesn't always lead to truth and justice, remember John Kerry?

I never really visit CHUD. I love this site. This is my first stop when searching reviews.

CHUD is like the Nascar of movie internet sites. Very popular sure, but mostly enjoyed by the most simple, scummiest examples of human kind out there.

Personally I've always believed if the only way you can make a name for yourself is by bad-mouthing the "competition" (and lets face it, aren't we supposed to be comrades not competition) then anything you have to say is pretty much of zero value anyway. Someone who's the best knows they're the best and doesn't have to put the other guy down to prove it because that kind of behaviour should be beyond him.

Of course, to be the best these days depends on who and how many people in Hollywood your willing to lick the ass of to get what you want. Intergrity is far more important than ethics. CHUD has no integrity as far as I'm concerned.

Perhaps CHUD should debate the ethics behind being both a supposed objective movie critic site and at the same time being run by a bunch of people who blantently use the site and it's connection to whore their own movie making ambitions by sucking up to the Hollywood populous.

Don't let it sweat you, bro. Devin has been throwing e-tantrums for years. When you see what a fat, unkempt ball of cliches he is...it all suddenly makes sense.
