You may have noticed Juno Temple in recent movies a time or two, whether as the victimized young girl of Atonement, the super cute cavegirl of Year One, or the wild college student who pops up near the end of Greenberg. But if what it takes to be cemented as "rising young star" is a Hollywood Reporter article slobbering all over you, then friends, Juno Temple has finally made it. Today's THR doesn't just report on three new roles Temple has booked, but has quotes from directors and producers talking up how special and talented she is.

No idea why Temple is getting the special treatment, but the new roles do sound worthy of celebration. First up is Dirty Girl, an indie drama in which she'll play a high school slut who takes her gay best friend on a road trip to find her birth father. Milla Jovovich, WIlliam H. Macy, Dwighty Yoakam and Mary Steenburgen are also starring in that one, so Temple isn't slouching in the costar department either. After that she'll star with AnnaSophia Robb in Goodnight Moon, another indie drama about two teenage girls who run away to Los Angeles and run into all kinds of trouble from there.

The third film is one we actually knew about already-- Temple is replacing Ellen Page in Jack & Diane, often described as "the lesbian werewolf movie" but apparently a lot more complex and nuanced than that. Olivia Thirlby's name had been connected with the project a long time ago, but she hasn't been mentioned lately and it's unclear who will star with Temple now.
