The biggest Indian star in America is bigger than ever. Now that he's finished working on Van Wilder 2, Kal Penn is moving on to bigger, better, National Lampoon free things. He and Rise of Taj director Mort Nathan have both been attached to the comedy Under New Management.
Variety says Penn will take an executive producer credit and star as one of two guys who send their boss out on a sex cruise and then turn their office into a hot party spot while he's gone. Somehow, turning their cubeville into a happening club only increases the company's profits and they triump over stodgy corporate America. Really, it sounds like win for everyone involved.
