If there’s one thing I can say about the poster for the upcoming movie One for the Money, it’s that Katherine Heigl looks good as a brunette. Other than that, I’m actually more sold by the story description than I am by the poster itself.

Based on a 1994 novel by Janet Evanovich, One for the Money follows an out-of-work lingerie buyer named Stephanie Plum, who takes a job working for her cousin Vinnie as a bounty-hunter. At some point, she may or may not fall in love with a man she thinks she despises. I’m not guessing that last part from the book description so much as I’m basing it on a number of previously released films starring Katherine Heigl.

As you’ll see by the poster below, which was originally posted at MovieFone.com, Heigl may be destined to have less fun, having dyed her normally blonde hair brown. She’s looking fashionably tough in denim and leather, and is sporting a pair of handcuffs.

One For The Money is set to appear in theaters on January 27, 2012.
