I've been regularly following Ashton Kutcher on Twitter, so I'm kind of disappointed that he didn't let his beloved Twitterverse know the latest casting news about his next movie, Five Killers. Kutcher was already signed on as a reformed assassin who is targeted by killers he knows from his past, and now Katherine Heigl will play the unlucky lady who marries the guy and gets caught up in this mess.
The movie will be a reunion for Heigl, notes Variety, since she also worked with director Robert Luketic on the upcoming romantic comedy The Ugly Truth. Luketic also made 21, so we know he has a way with poppy entertainment. But given that Kutcher and Heigl can ocassionally be irritating on-screen beyond what you would think possible, I'm wondering if this is a romantic match that ever should have been made.
