The star-studded indie-comedy The Romantics is swapping Liv Tyler for Katie Holmes, according to Variety. No word on why Liv was bumped in favor of Mrs. Tom Cruise, but I’d maybe it has something to do with the fact that not only is Katie now starring in the movie, she’s also taken over as executive producer. Sorry Liv, she’s the boss and she wants a part. See ya.

The Romantics is about eight friends reuniting around a wedding. Anna Paquin is already on board to play the bride and Katie Holmes is her maid of honor. Also already involved are, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody, Jeremy Strong, Josh Duhamel and Optimus Prime. What? I just assume he goes wherever Josh Duhamel goes. Admit it, this would be a better movie if he did.
